Important Date & Times
RDC 2026 Recital Details:
- Date: Saturday, June 20 & Sunday, June 21
- Location: Lindberg High School - 16426 128th AVE. SE. Renton, WA 98058
- Performance Times: There will be three shows, times are TBD.
- Who: All RDC dancers/classes will perform (except the toddler/caregiver and technique & progressions)
- Pre-Performance Attendance: A reminder to attend every class between April 1st and the recitals in June! It’s important your dancer be in class for the last 2.5 months before the performance, so they feel confident and prepared! If a dancer misses more than 3 classes between April 1st and the recital, they may not be able to participate in the performance.

- 85% of our dancers have multiple classes and/or multiple dancers in their family. It’s a good thing, but also presents a huge challenge when scheduling performances. We'll try our best to assign families to just one show, but if you have multiple classes and/or students, your dancers will definitely be in more than one show.

Important Costume Dates
- January 5-17: Costume measurements taken in class
- February 2: Costume deposits due
- Weeks of May 4-9 and 11-16: In-class costume/tight distribution
Costume Process & Details
- RDC staff will take dancer’s measurements in class the weeks of January 5th - 10th and 12th-17th. Our teachers choose the costumes for each class and then we size them carefully and order everything your dancer needs. Don’t worry, we account for growth between January and June!
- Dancers will get a different costume for each of their classes. If you’re enrolled in a combo class (Ballet/Tap, Hip Hop/Acro) your dancer will do two dances and they’ll get a 2 in 1 costume, for one cost.
- There is a $75 per class costume deposit due up front that has been posted to your account. The actual costs of each costume are reconciled after we order them, and your account will be charged for any additional costs or credited for any difference in March.
- We work to keep costs down and our deposit amount is set at $75 to hopefully cover all costume costs, but costumes have increased quite a bit in cost over the last few years, so you should expect that you will have a small balance due, even after the $75 deposit.
- Costume, tights and accessories are included with your costume purchase.

- Families are responsible for shoes and any costume alterations needed.
- You will own these costumes and although it’s a LOT of money for an outfit they are going to wear only a few times, most of our dancers wear them for several years after for dress up, costume weeks at RDC and other things!
